Cache (search engine cache) is indexed information from a site that is entered into the search engine database.
The search robot regularly crawls sites, and the information (links, texts, graphic objects, etc.) that was added after its last visit is not recorded in the cache.
Sometimes the robot can ignore elements of old information. Those materials that are in the cache will be displayed as a response to the request. In the search engine cache, the webmaster knows what part of his site is returned when requested. To see cashed website add the word "cache:" in front of website's address.
