Approve or approval in scope of SEO is the approval of some action or information after preliminary moderation. The term is an SEO slang. Among SEO specialists, “to approve” means to get through the pre-agreed set of actions which will constitute on "approve" of something.
For example, the site has an affiliate program that pays 0.25 dollars for confirmed registration. That is, to receive a reward, it is not enough to simply create an account on the resource. It is necessary for the user to fill out a form or confirm by clicking on a link sent by e-mail. If you simply enter your registration details, there will be no reward. Confirmation (approval) will serve as the basis for charging money. This means that accounts can be created by, for example, 50 users, and the partner will receive a reward only for some. Let's say, if 35 people send confirmation, then the approval rate will be 70%, and if 40 users, then 80%.
Connection between approvals and CPA
In CPA systems (from English “cost per action”), the advertiser transfers a reward for specific actions on the site. For example, a fee is charged if
• users find a resource in a search service,
• go to the desired pages,
• click on an advertisement,
• register,
• take part in a survey, etc.
Approval in the CPA will be considered the fact that the visitor completes all actions specified by the customer.
It is worth considering separately the concept of approval in arbitration. The latter refers to the user or service that supplies traffic to the site. These could be visitors to his page on social networks, providers of advertising, links on the site, etc. Not all of them may be the target audience for the site and be interested in its services or products. Approval in percentage terms will show the effectiveness of each “arbitrator”.
